With the opening of its new store in the Sandton City Shopping Centre in Johannesburg, Markham is focusing on a shopping experience that combines design, fashion, and sound. For the professional audio setup, our partner RetailWave Technologies chose the SMART Audio System from CONOWAVE.

In fashion retail, it is not just the product range that determines the first impression. Lighting, materials, and background music also contribute to how customers perceive a brand.

For the new store in Sandton City, an audio solution was therefore chosen that enables uniform sound distribution and integrates unobtrusively into the store design. This creates a pleasant atmosphere that supports the brand's image and rounds off the shopping experience.

The audio solution for Markham Sandton City

The CONO canto SMART and the SUB canto SMART are being used. Together, they ensure balanced sound quality with uniform 360° sound distribution and powerful bass.

Thanks to wireless audio transmission, the system was installed quickly – without complex cabling or interventions in the existing architecture. This is a crucial advantage, especially for projects in high-traffic shopping centers.
