What do I need a Monopoint for?

If you want to mount a canto SMART on the ceiling but don't have a power rail and don't want to install one. The Monopoint is a single connection point — click in the speaker, and you're done.

Do I need an electrician?
What is the difference between surface-mounted and flush-mounted?

Surface-mounted sits on the ceiling (e.g., concrete ceiling). Recessed disappears into the ceiling (e.g., plasterboard) – for this, you need the separate mounting frame and a ceiling cut-out of 105 mm.
