The CONO canto SMART is a 360° wireless speaker for 3-phase lighting track– part of the CONOWAVE Wireless Audio System. Integrated amplifier and DECT wireless receiver (1.9 GHz). Music is received wirelessly from the SMARTplayer – range up to 120 meters, audio transmission in 48 kHz/16 bit. Tool-free installation: insert the speaker into the lighting track, and you're done. Compatible with all standard lighting tracks (Nordic Aluminium, Eutrac, Global, Zumtobel, etc.). Power: 40 watts RMS, frequency range 105–21,000 Hz, weight 1.45 kg. Unlimited number of speakers per system, controlled via app. Designed in Italy. Made in Germany.

No. The canto SMART simply clicks into the existing track — just like a ceiling spotlight. Power comes from the track, music wirelessly. Done.
What is the SMARTplayer and do I need it?
How many speakers do I need for my store?
Rule of thumb: Ceiling height × 2 = distance between speakers. For a 3-meter ceiling height, that means 6 meters distance — one speaker then covers approximately 35m². So for a 60m² café, you need 2 speakers. Not sure? Send us your room size — we'll help with planning free of charge.
Does the guest Wi-Fi interfere with the radio connection?
No. The canto SMART operates on 1.9 GHz DECT — its own frequency, completely independent of Wi-Fi. Regardless of how many guests are online simultaneously.
Does the Canto fit into my track?
Yes, if you have a 3-phase track. The canto SMART is compatible with Nordic Aluminium, Eutrac, Global, Nuco, Staff, Ivela, Zumtobel, and all other manufacturers using this standard.
