The CONO puro SMART is a 360° wireless recessed speaker for suspended ceilings, part of the CONOWAVE wireless audio system. Integrated amplifier and DECT wireless receiver (1.9 GHz). The speaker disappears into the ceiling, with only the 15 cm ring remaining visible. Twist-lock mounting without screws. Ceiling cutout 12 cm, installation depth 14 cm, ceiling thickness 6–25 mm. Music is received wirelessly from the SMARTplayer, range up to 120 meters. Power: 40 watts RMS, frequency range 105–20,000 Hz, weight 648 g. Assembly
Cut a 120mm hole in the ceiling, insert the speaker, and secure it with the twist-lock mechanism. No screws, no tools. Just a power connection above the ceiling. The music is streamed wirelessly from the SMARTplayer.
Only if you don't yet have a power connection above the suspended ceiling. The speaker itself can be installed without tools — Twist-Lock, done in 2 minutes.
What is the SMARTplayer and do I need it?
How many speakers do I need for my store?
Rule of thumb: Ceiling height × 2 = distance between speakers. With a 3-meter ceiling height, this means a 6-meter distance—one speaker then covers approx. 35m². For a 60m² café, you need 2 speakers. Not sure? Write us your room size—we'll help you plan for free.
Does the guest Wi-Fi interfere with the radio connection?
No. The puro SMART broadcasts at 1.9 GHz DECT – its own frequency, completely independent of WLAN.
Does the Puro fit into my ceiling?
You need a suspended ceiling with at least 140 mm of cavity behind it. The ceiling cutout is 120 mm, and the ceiling thickness must be between 6 and 25 mm. Not sure? Send us a photo — we'll tell you if it fits.
