Assembly

Screw in the ceiling mount, hang the speaker, adjust the height. The cover plate conceals the connection to the ceiling. No electrician required – just a power outlet on the ceiling. The music is transmitted wirelessly from the SMARTplayer.

FAQs

Do I need an electrician for the assembly?

Only if you don't already have a power connection on the ceiling. Otherwise: screw on the bracket, hang the speaker, adjust the height. The music comes wirelessly.

What is SMARTplayer and do I need it?

How many speakers do I need for my store?

Rule of thumb: Ceiling height × 2 = distance between speakers. With a 3-meter ceiling height, that means 6 meters distance — one speaker then covers approx. 35m². For a 60m² café, you need 2 speakers. Not sure? Write to us with your room size — we'll help with planning free of charge.

Does the guest Wi-Fi interfere with the radio connection?

No. The pendo SMART operates on 1.9 GHz DECT — its own frequency, completely independent of Wi-Fi. No matter how many guests are online at the same time.

Can I adjust the height later?

Yes. The steel cable is continuously adjustable. You can change the height at any time — without disassembling the speaker.
